Halfway houses have rules such as curfew, chores, and times you must be out of the house finding a job, working, or volunteering. Halfway houses in Washington State also sometimes ask you to make an AA or NA meeting once a day. Of course halfway houses also will expect you to stay sober.

Recovery housing in Washington State is something that can and should be utilized by any recovering addict or alcoholic in order to help them learn how to cope with daily stresses of living while sober.
